From Love Comes Legacy.
From Legacy, Lives Will Be Saved
It’s time for a new chapter in my life and I am looking forward to sharing this. For many years, my life was rooted in creativity, connection and the joy of helping my clients feel their best. I poured my heart into my hairdressing business and entrepreneurship, building a career that gave me so much pride. But when I lost the love of my life, Willy, everything changed. My world shifted, my purpose refocused, and I knew I had to honour him in a way that truly mattered.
Willy had an adventurous spirit, lived life to the max and had a deep love of the sea. His loss has left a space that can never be filled, but his spirit, his free spirit – still guides me. Today, I have put down the scissors to carry forward the legacy he leaves behind: a mission to save lives at sea by raising awareness of life jacket safety and supporting the incredible work of Free Spirit. This incredible charity helps coastal communities reconnect with the sea and was very close to Willy’s heart.
This new chapter is about turning heartbreak into hope. It’s about using my voice, my energy, and my love for Willy to make a difference – one life jacket, one message, one
About Us – Willy & Me
Willy and I shared a love story that spanned decades. We met and fell in love many years ago, parted ways, and somehow, found our way back to one another years later. Fate gave us a second chance, and we built a life together in the peaceful, haven of Port Solent.
Our home was filled with laughter, late-night conversations, and the patter of paws from our beloved terrier, Rosie Rhubarb. We lived simply, happily and grateful for every ordinary, extraordinary day.
Willy loved sea and the freedom of it, the adventure, the connection to something bigger than himself. And so it’s only fitting that my purpose now leads me back to the water too.
LivesWillBeSaved
LivesWillBeSaved is a movement born from love, loss and an unwavering belief that every life at sea matters.
What happened to Willy has strengthened my determination to ensure that no family endures a preventable tragedy. Through this initiative, I’m working to:
• Raise awareness of the vital importance of life jackets
• Encourage safe practices for everyone on the water, sailors, paddle boarders, kayakers, swimmers and families
• Share Willy’s story so it can inspire change and, ultimately, save lives
This mission is not just in his memory, it is powered by it.

Every contribution carries Willy’s legacy forward.

“Willy’s spirit will live on through every life saved.”
This journey is deeply personal, but it’s also a shared one, because safety at sea affects us all, and love has a way of connecting hearts far beyond the shore.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you for listening.
Thank you for helping me turn Willy’s story into a beacon of safety, love, and life.
Lives will be saved.
And his spirit will live on.
Thank you.
